The app has a built-in player for recordings. It can play them both thru the main speaker and thru the handset speaker. The default speaker is selected in “Audio output”, but may also be changed in the player itself by long tapping the Play/Pause button.

In addition, if you check "Use proximity setting," the output will be switched between the two speakers automatically when you move the phone close to the ear or away from it.
